About

I'm Sarah. For 9 years, I worked in commercial architecture. Partly by choice and partly due to the economy, I became a full-time stay at home mom following my son's birth in July 2009. I started working again part time in May 2012 and am learning the new challenges of balancing motherhood, work and personal time as I prepare to start full time work again in March 2013. The past year has been a whirlwind transitioning to working and moving to a new house.

I began this blog in October 2007. Initially my plan was to use it as another platform to share my passion for scrapbooking & crafting. Over the years those things still remain but it has also become a place for me to share highlights and adventures of everyday life with my family.

I also contribute to a local blog for moms - Notes from a Mom in Chapel Hill (A Guide). It's a wonderful resource for the Triangle area parents with informative posts about things to do with our little ones.
